Burton’s deal with RCR was in conjunction with a multi-year extension signed by sponsor Caterpillar.
↵That’s similar to the deal announced by Roush Fenway Racing and Greg Biffle on Sunday. That extension, for at least three more years, runs with a longer agreement for sponsor 3M.
↵Other big-name drivers are still out there: Carl Edwards and Clint Bowyer are among those who have yet to decide on their futures.
