With Lille, Rennes, and PSG all faltering at the weekend, the title and European places are still very much up for grabs in France. Marseille can re-gain the top spot in the table with a win over Nice, while Lyon can solidify their Champions League place with a win over Nice. Both of the “big” clubs are favorites, but Montpellier should provide some serious opposition to Lyon.
French Ligue 1: Marseille Vs. Nice, Lyon Vs. Montpellier
Lyon are still without Michel Bastos, but otherwise, have a full team at their disposal. The title is still conceivably up for grabs for OL, but they would require a serious slip-up from Marseille. That seems unlikely to happen at home today against Nice, but L’OM might suffer from a bit of a hangover after capturing the Coupe de la Ligue at the weekend.
Both games kick off at 1 pm ET, 6 pm local time, and can be seen in the United States on FoxSoccer.tv.
