Adding a strong piece to their offensive line, the Kansas City Chiefs took Florida's State's Rodney Hudson 52nd in the 2011 NFL Draft.

The Chiefs needed help for an offensive line that is aging quickly. Hudson will be able to play either guard or center for the Chiefs. At FSU, Hudson started at guard in each of his four seasons.

The knock on Hudson has been his size. He played at around 283 pounds in college. That led most to think he's not strong enough for NFL teams. Anyone who questions Hudson's playing strength should just watch a game. He's strong at the point of attack and has especially strong hands. He's now up to 300 pounds, but it would be a surprise if he keeps that weight on.

Hudson is a perfect choice for a zone blocking scheme. He's agile on the move and targets defenders really well. With starter Casey Wiegmann being 37, Hudson could play soon for the Chiefs.
