Nickname Watch: Charlie “Ground Chuck” Morton

In an interview with WPGB-Pittsburgh, Pirate manager Clint Hurdle referred to starter Charlie Morton — currently second among qualified pitchers in ground-ball percentage — as "Ground Chuck," giving credit to the team's Director of Media Relations, Jim Trdinich, for the invention.
