ESPN.com columnist David Newton wrote this weekend that Regan Smith’s Southern 500 victory “remains the feel-good story of the year, bigger than Trevor Bayne and the Wood Brothers winning the Daytona 500.”
Was Regan Smith’s Victory More Of A ‘Feel-Good’ Win Than The Daytona 500?
↵Newton’s reasoning was that “the Wood Brothers have won before.”
↵Personally, I disagree. Not to take anything away from Smith, but I think Bayne’s incredible upset in the sport’s biggest race was more of a “feel-good” story.
↵What do you think?
