NASCAR Dover Ratings Up; Highest Since Talladega

NASCAR and FOX got some good news following Dover: The overnight ratings for the FedEx 400 were a 3.8, up from an overnight of 3.6 last year.

↵While that’s a mild rise, it reverses the recent trend of ratings being down – even from the 2010 season. Not including rainouts, the overnight ratings had dropped or stayed flat in five straight races when compared to last year’s events.

↵The 3.8 overnight rating was the highest since Talladega. Final ratings are due later this week.
