GameDay Filming Almost Costs The World Chris Fowler

This year’s batch of soon-to-be beloved GameDay commercials are filming, and the stakes have been raised for ESPN’s Saturday announcers. In order to top the ultimate tension sundae of Mack Brown and Nick Saban playing Jenga in 2010’s spots, one host obviously had to be put in mortal danger. The lucky pratfaller was Chris Fowler, who had what he calls a near-death experience attempting to stay on the Sooner Schooner once it lurched into motion:

Erin Andrews and Lee Corso, for their part, looked mighty comfy up front. Also appearing in this year’s spots will be Les Miles and Chip Kelly.
