Athens PD Contagion Spreading Throughout Georgia

We joked Tuesday about Auburn RB Onterio McCalebb’s run-in with police being particularly irksome given Decatur’s proximity to Athens and its notoriously overenthusiastic police department, but after learning he had to spend the night in jail thanks to a “backlog of arrests,” for traffic offenses, we are left to conclude that the University of Georgia police personnel must be moonlighting down in the big city. Nobody does ticky-tack better.
