NFL.com - Gil Brandt 2012 NFL Draft top 100
Even though Brandt refers to Lavonte David as David Lavonte, his top 100 list is worth checking out. He doesn't have may surprise players, but the order may surprise. He rates USC quarterback Matt Barkley as the second overall player. Others of interest: Boise State OL Nate Potter (fourth)Oklahoma LB Travis Lewis (seventh) and Ohio State OT Mike Adams (eighth).

“It’s just a number to me,” Newton said on NFL Network. “Gossip sells, and I understand that with people hearing I wore No. 2 in college, and Jimmy (Clausen) has it right now, (but) it’s not a big deal to me. The Sports Network - Top 10 FCS offensive linemen
The Sports Network, which is smaller media company, picks the 10 best offensive linemen in the Football Championship Subdivision, featuring guard J.C. Oram of Weber State. Although I don’t know as much about the lower level players, none of this year’s linemen inspire much confidence.
While the offensive linemen look to be down in the FCS, the defensive backs seem promising. Among them are Montana cornerback Trumaine Johnson, Cal Poly's Asa Jackson and Furman's Ryan Steed.
