The 2011 NBA Finals schedule is now set, thanks to the Miami Heat's Game 5 win over the Chicago Bulls on Thursday. The victory launched Miami to a 4-1 win in the Eastern Conference Finals. On Wednesday, the Dallas Mavericks knocked off the Oklahoma City Thunder at home to give the Mavs a 4-1 series victory in the Western Conference Finals.
NBA Finals Schedule 2011: Heat Vs. Mavericks Tips Off Tuesday
The quick work by the Heat and Mavericks means the NBA Finals schedule moves up a bit. Originally slated to begin on June 2, the NBA moved up the Finals series' Game 1 to Tuesday, May 31. That still gives the league a full four days off in between series.
Here’s the full schedule for the Finals. All times are Easter, and all games will be broadcast on ABC in the United States and TSN in Canada.
Game 1: Tue., May 31 in Miami, 9 p.m.
Game 2: Thu., June 2 in Miami, 9 p.m.
Game 3: Sun., June 5 in Dallas, 8 p.m.
Game 4: Tue., June 7 in Dallas, 9 p.m.
Game 5: Thu., June 9 in Dallas, 9 p.m.
Game 6: Sun., June 12 in Miami, 8 p.m.
Game 7: Tue., June 14 in Miami, 9 p.m.
