Post-draft questions: NFC North

Getty Images

The 2011 NFL Draft is over, but every team still faces questions. Over the next week, we’ll present a question for each team. Each team’s success may depend on finding an answer. Today, the NFC Central.

Chicago Bears
Who is the No. 1 wide receiver in Chicago? The Bears didn't address wide receiver in the draft despite it being a deep class. The Bears finished 28th in passing last season due largely to not having a top wide receiver. Johnny Knox is a nice player, but more of a No. 2 option. This was a spot Chicago could have filled this year and didn't.

Detroit Lions

Did the Lions make a mistake not picking a cornerback in the second round? The Lions went with wide receiver Titus Young and running back Mikel Leshoure in the second round of the draft this year. Top corner

Chris Houston

is a free agent and second cornerback

Alphonso Smith

might be best suited in the nickel spot.

Green Bay Packers

Are the Packers banking on

Frank Zombo

and

Erik Walden

too much? Zombo was undrafted last year and Walden was picked up off the street. Both came on at the end of last season. To bank on them contributing at as high of a level is a risk.

Minnesota Vikings

Who is the starting quarterback? The Vikings are going to actively pursue a veteran quarterback once the lockout ends. That will allow Christian Ponder to sit a year or more. The trouble is, there aren’t a lot of quarterbacks. It seems the Vikings might be banking on getting

Donovan McNabb

.
