As mentioned previously, NFL Draft Scout is the gold standard for draft sites. So when senior analyst Chad Reuter releases a mock draft, it’s noteworthy.
Rock out with your 2012 NFL mock draft out: Chad Reuter
Reuter released his first 2012 mock draft earlier this week and Andrew Luck goes first overall to the Redskins.
The order Reuter has is significant. While covering the 2011 NFL Draft, Reuter sat down with one NFL general manager to come up with the order. So when you get upset that your team is picking high, don’t shoot the messenger.
That messenger, Reuter, has the three top quarterbacks – Luck, Oklahoma's Landry Jones and USC's Matt Barkley – being picked in the first six selections. All underclassmen, Reuter predicts the senior crop in 2012 as a whole is going to be weak. Twenty of the 32 picks in his mock are juniors. This year, the first round featured 15 non-seniors.
That’s where I want to open up the comments. What are your thoughts on this year’s senior class. Is it poor? Who do you think will be a breakthrough upperclassman this year? Hit it up in the comments.
