Radio host Lance Zierlein writes that the NFL lockout could soon be concluding, according to sources on the side of the players. Due to the recent uptick in conversations and negotiations, the lockout could be over by the end of the month or in July.

A reader asks Bill Williamson what the draft order for 2012 would be if the 2011 season is wiped out. Williamson notes that no one knows, maybe not even the NFL. I’ve contacted the league about this myself only to be ignored. Williamson guesses that the league would use the same 2011 order. I tend to agree unless they used a lottery.

Baltimore Beatdown - Is the Ravens defense still elite?
Writer Bruce Raffel breaks down why the Baltimore defense should still be considered elite. He mostly cites age not being a factor except for Ray Lewis, Kelly Gregg and Ed Reed. To me, the Ravens have a really good defense as long as Terrell Suggs is playing well. More on this later in our Ravens war room bit.
