Karsten Whitson and Grayson Garvin appeared to be in the midst of a long pitcher’s duel, but Florida Gators slugger Preston Tucker has changed that with a swing of the bat. After three innings of scoreless baseball, Garvin made a mistake and left a breaking ball hanging over the middle of the plate, finally giving a Gators player a great pitch to hit. No one could have predicted what Tucker was going to do with it, though, as he absolutely crushed the ball deep into the bleachers, hitting a three-run home run and putting the Gators up 3-0 on the Vanderbilt Commodores.

There is a strong wind blowing in from right field, which is exactly where Tucker hit the ball to, making his huge home run even more impressive. That one big swing might keep Florida up for a while, as Whitson is pitching a fantastic game so far. The Gators are going into the top of the fifth with their lead, and Whitson is working on a shutout.
