Scouts reportedly think poorly of Terrelle Pryor
On Monday, we had a quick bit about a special Gruden’s QB Camp with Pryor airing on June 30.
The news now is the poor grade Pryor reportedly received from the National scouting department. Made up of scouts from several NFL teams, the National group gave Pryor a 5.1 rating (out of nine), according to National Football Post.
A 5.1 ranking is typically designated for sixth- or seventh-round prospects. As a point of reference, before last season, Florida State's Christian Ponder and Washington's Jake Locker were given a 6.7 score.
Although not a lot should be inferred by the ranking, it may give some indication of what the NFL thinks of the controversial quarterback. At least one team, the Cleveland Browns, are doing their due diligence on Pryor, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
