2011 US Open Cup: Third Round Matches Set

Six USL PRO teams and two PDL teams advanced to the third round of the 2011 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup and will now face off against eight Major League Soccer teams left in the tournament.

The six USL PRO teams to advance are FC New York, Rochester Rhinos, Richmond Kickers, Wilmington Hammerheads, Orlando City Soccer Club and Los Angeles Blues. The Kitsap Pumas and Chicago Fire PDL are the only two PDL teams to advance.

They will join the New York Red Bulls, the Chicago Fire, the Columbus Crew, Sporting Kansas City, FC Dallas, the Los Angeles Galaxy and the Seattle Sounders in the third round.

The Chicago Fire are the only MLS team not to host their third round matchup. The other seven will host their respective games next Tuesday, June 28.
