Thanks to Mexico having their best players sent home for hooking up with prostitutes and Uruguay...being crap I guess...the two highly rated international sides are sitting in the bottom two places of Group C in the 2011 Copa America. For both, their mission is simple. No math, no fiddling with goal differential. If Mexico wins, they're in the quarterfinals. If any other result happens, Uruguay are in the quarterfinals. Easy enough.

Uruguay has struggled so far in this tournament, despite their incredible talent. Edinson Cavani, whose past two Serie A seasons with Napoli and Palermo have been terrific, has been poor so far. Luis Suarez has been a bit better, but not as good as he has been in the past. Diego Forlan isn't particularly awful, but looks like a shell of the man who won the World Cup's Golden Ball.
Mexico are overly reliant on Giovani dos Santos to do absolutely everything for them, and that won’t change on Tuesday night. Thankfully for El Tri’s supporters, Uruguay’s midfield has been off their game, but Gio still shouldn’t be able to power through Uruguay on his own.
At the end of the day, Uruguay are a much deeper team than Mexico and shouldn’t be undone by one very good player. It would be downright shocking to see them fail to get the draw they need to advance to the quarterfinals, and a win seems pretty likely.
