Today on “MMA Nation” we’ve actually got a lot to cover.

I spoke to Rich Franklin earlier in the week, so while he's out of UFC 133 we'll still play his interview. We talk to Franklin about a number of items, most notably: what sort of responsibility does a UFC fighter have to the organization to save them by filling in for fights on short notice? Franklin shares his perspective.

We'll also talk to UFC welterweight Johny Hendricks before his important fight with Mike Pierce at UFC 133.

We'll also talk about whether the UFC insurance policy is encouraging more fighters to pull out of contests, upcoming fight cards (UFC 135, UFC 136, UFC 137) and much more.

Of course, we’ll also be taking all of YOUR calls. It’s toll free anywhere in North America, so don’t be shy.

MMA Nation” will air tonight 9:00 p.m. ET to 11:00 p.m. ET on 106.7 The Fan. To listen live over the Internet, go to The Fan’s website and click “Listen Live”.

Be sure to follow me on Twitter: @MMANation. Email here.

Talk to you then.
