Saturday’s Wimbledon Schedule And TV Coverage

The ladies’ Championships final will kick off Saturday, Day 12 of Wimbledon 2011 at the All England Club, with match coverage beginning at 9 a.m. EDT. All finals matches will be played on Centre Court, so the rain delays plaguing this year’s tournament shouldn’t be an issue. Today’s TV schedule (view the full fortnight’s schedule here): 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. on NBC. Live scores can be found throughout the day on the tournament’s official website.

Scheduled Day 12 matches on Centre Court:
• No. 5 Maria Sharapova vs. No. 8 Petra Kvitova (Women’s final)
• No. 1 Bob & Mike Bryan vs. No. 8 Robert Linstedt & Horia Tecau (Men’s doubles final)
• No. 2 Kveta Peschke & Katarina Srebotnik vs. TBD

That second slot in the women’s final will be filled early Saturday morning, by either Sabine Lisicki and Sam Stosur or Marina Erakovic and Tamarine Tanasugarn. Called off at the end of Day 11, with Lisicki-Stosur leading 6-3 4-6 5-5, the match is scheduled to be completed on Court No. 12, giving the winning pair a scant few hours to rest up for the main event.

Stay tuned to this StoryStream for results from Day 12 of Wimbledon 2011 as matches are completed.
