Adam Vinatieri, Colts Reportedly Agree To Three-Year Deal

Rain, sleet, or shine; there's no stopping Adam Vinatieri. After 15 seasons in the NFL, the 38-year old has agreed to terms with the Indianapolis Colts, reportedly re-signing with the team for a 3-year deal, according to Jason La Canfora.

Known by many as one of the best clutch kickers in the history of the NFL, Vinatieri has won everywhere he played. After being signed as an undrafted free agent by the New England Patriots in 1996, the South Dakotan embarked on one of the most incredible career for a placekicker in recent memory, serving as a pivotal contributor in six Super Bowls -- four with Patriots and two with the Colts -- and winning four. He holds a number of famous kicks to his name, including the game-tying and winning kicks during the chaotic "Tuck Rule Game," and two last second Super Bowl-winning kicks (XXXVI and XXXVIII).

Last year, at the age of 37, Vinatieri converted 26 of 28 attempts, good for 92.9 percent and 129 points -- the second best showing of his career. It was also the 13th time the durable veteran kicker played in all 16 games of a season.
