Brandon Jackson Leaving Packers For Browns, According To Report

Former Green Bay Packer running back Brandon Jackson has reached an agreement with the Cleveland Browns, according to a report by ESPN's Adam Schefter. The deal is reportedly worth $4.5 million over 2 years.

Jackson was drafted by in the second round of the 2007 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers, where he spent the first four years of his career. He is coming off a career-best season in which he rushed for 1,329 yards and seven touchdowns on 347 attempts, and caught 43 passes for 342 yards, while playing in all sixteen regular season games for the first time of his short stay in the NFL.

Jackson joins a Cleveland Browns team already entrenched with depth in the backfield. He will compete for playing time against Madden 2011 cover boy Peyton Hillis and second year back Montario Hardesty.
