ROUND 1 - Both fighters come out orthodox, but Woodley has a very, very low stance and seems nervous. Woodley lands a nice right hand, however. Woodley catches a kick, but Daley stuffs the first attempt. Woodley drives Daley into the fence, but the fight is temporarily halted by an inadvertent groin strike. The fight resumes. Woodley throwing wild strikes, but they’re blocked and Daley defends. Woodley drives into a takedown, but Daley stuffs it. Woodley is pressing Daley into the cage, but referee separates them because of inactivity. Daley lands an uppercut, but brilliantly stuffs a shot from Daley and they’re back in the center of the cage. Daley turns Woodley into the fence now. Both fighters dig body shots in the clinch.

ROUND 2 - Daley again stopping shot after shot, but now Woodley pressing Daley into the cage. Woodley runs the pipe on a single and gets the takedown. Woodley working from Daley’s full guard, but not doing much. Woodley gets Daley into the fence and Daley nearly stands, but isn’t able to make it work. The referee stands them up and Daley gets on top of Woodley landing a punch or two. Woodley looks very gassed.

ROUND 3 - Daley doing the stalking now. A knee from Daley is met with a takedown from Woodley. Woodley now in half guard raining strikes from on top. The crowd is louding booing now. Daley tries to scoot his hops back standing after pushing Woodley’s hips away. Daley is back to his feet and nearly takes the back of Woodley, but stands back out again. Right uppercut and knee land for Daley and Woodley is diving for takedowns. Daley lands an omaplata, but Woodley is back on top.
