A more introverted Chad Ochocinco met with the media on Saturday as he began to get acquainted with the New England Patriots and his new surroundings. Ochocinco is often outspoken and brash, but many hypothesized his attitude will have to change under Patriots’ head coach Bill Belichick. Odds are Ochocinco’s Tweeting and, as Belichick called it, MyFacing, will have to slow down, if not stop, during his time with the Patriots.
Chad Ochocinco Meets New England Patriots Media, Asks For Group Hug
The new and improved Ochocinco was quiet, calm and collected when talking to the media. There was nothing controversial, and he got off to a solid start, politely answering reporters questions and discussing his new team.
He even ended the interview with one small request for the giant swarm of reporters: A group hug (the special moment comes near the end of the video)
Surprisingly, they obliged, making for one of those warm and fuzzy, “I love you, man” training camp moments. We’ll see if Ochocinco keeps it up if the going gets tough in New England, though there’s no reason to believe he won’t under Belichick’s watchful eye.
Just wait til he starts asking Belichick for hugs at practice.
