The college football season is creeping closer and closer which means it is time to start ranking draft prospects. These rankings will be subject to change throughout the season. Each week the players will either help or hurt their draft stock impacting the position ranking. Don't forget that someone always emerges and becomes a surprise top prospect, like Nick Fairley.
Dove’s 2012 NFL Draft Rankings: Running Backs
This running back class features nice talent with different skill sets. There are big power backs like Trent Richardson and quick elusive backs like Cyrus Gray. I could easily see both Richardson and Gray selected before the 15th pick of the 2012 draft.
The position not only has nice top end talent but also good depth. Vic Ballard of Mississippi State could be a candidate for a major breakout season.
