Ball had seven sacks in 2010 despite only playing 11 games. Ford, one of the NFL’s faster defensive ends, had three sacks in 2010, but had seven in 2008 and 5.5 in 2009.
Hall touches the ball infrequently, but his blocking helped Chris Johnson rack up over 1,200 yards in each of his first three seasons in the NFL.
Jim Wyatt reports that the Ball and Ford deals are for around $1.3 million apiece. For more on the Titans’ recent signings, check out Music City Miracles, which likes Ford’s upside:
Jacob Ford is one of my favorite players on the team, and he can be a stud if he can stay healthy. We were all expecting that break out season last year, but nagging injuries slowed him down all season long.
The Titans now have 87 players in camp.
