There were and maybe still are questions as to whether Dimitar Berbatov will be with Manchester United at the end of August, but he's still with the team now and he's on the pitch too. The Bulgarian has come on for Danny Welbeck in the 64th minute as the Red Devils search for a game-winner. Welbeck had a bright preseason, but didn't do much in this contest and Berbatov should give the visitors more than what they were getting from the youngster.
West Brom Vs. Manchester United: Dimitar Berbatov On For Danny Welbeck
United have had no problem drawing free kicks and getting corner kicks, but nothing has come of them. They haven't been able to use Welbeck's pace to stretch the West Brom back line either so they will need another way through. Berbatov's sublime skill could be the answer here. It will certainly give the Red Devils more of a presence on the right side of the pitch. Wayne Rooney has spent most of the time on the left so he could play with the lively Ashley Young, but the right side has been quiet. Berbatov and Nani may be able to open up that channel.
