Apparently former Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pyror is bigger than the NFL Supplemental Draft.
Supplemental draft postponed; Terrelle Pryor still has a chance of getting in
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the draft has been postponed until further notice. The draft was to take place on Wednesday. Pryor has thus far not been ruled eligible for the supplemental draft and left off the list the NFL sent to its teams.
The postponement of the draft will allow Pryor to attempt to get a letter from Ohio State or the NCAA officially ruling him ineligible for the college football season.
Until the NFL makes a decision, five players players eligible for the supplemental draft will continue to wait. They are former North Carolina defensive end Michael McAdoo, Georgia running back Caleb King, Northern Illinois safety Tracy Wilson, Western Carolina cornerback Torez Jones and Lindenwood defensive end Keenan Mace.
Pryor has been working out in Pennsylvania with former Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Ken Anderson.
On Monday, King worked out in front of seven teams and a National Scouting representative who is passing along information to subscribing teams. King told reporters after the workout that he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.49 and 4.50 seconds.
According to NFL Draft Bible, Mace has heard from all 32 teams in the league. He was picked up by the Dallas Cowboys after the lockout ended but was still ruled college eligible and disallowed from signing.
