In the thunderous flurry of allegations in the Nevin Shapiro/Miami football investigation by Yahoo! Sports, junior safety Ray-Ray Armstrong has been implicated.

Armstrong is considered by many to be one of the premier safeties eligible for the 2012 NFL Draft.
In recorded interviews with federal officials, Shapiro detailed the improper benefits Armstrong allegedly received during the recruiting process. According to the Yahoo! Sports report, Armstrong and two other Miami recruits were taken to a strip club by a former Hurricanes equipment assistant.
Armstrong and the other two recruits (Andre Debose and Dyron Dye) were also invited to multiple parties involving booster, according to the report.
One sad note about the report is that Shapiro gave Armstrong a game-worn Sean Taylor Miami uniform. Armstrong wears No. 26, the same number as Taylor did as a phenom at Miami.
But what does this mean for Armstrong’s pro prospects? Ultimately, very little. At worst, Miami could do with the associated players what North Carolina did last season. Armstrong could face a season-long suspension, but like many of the UNC players he could still be drafted high.
Former UNC defensive end Robert Quinn, for instance, had to sit out the entire 2010 season for receiving improper benefits. The St. Louis Rams still used the 13th overall pick on him. It's not the top 10 area many expected, but he still received a four-year rookie contract.
Defensive tackle Marcus Forston and linebacker Sean Spence are among the other possible top NFL Draft picks implicated in the report.
