The Denver Broncos lead the Buffalo Bills, 17-3, in the third quarter following two touchdown by Willis McGahee. In the second quarter, McGahee rushed one yard for a score and followed that over eight minutes later with a 13-yard touchdown reception. He is definitely being used as expected: a red zone target. Matt Prater added a field goal in the third quarter.
Bills Vs. Broncos Score: Brady Quinn Takes Over For Kyle Orton With 17-3 Lead In Hand
There is plenty of noise around the Broncos' quarterback situation. Starting quarterback Kyle Orton was 10-of-13 for 135 yards and threw the touchdown pass to McGahee. Brady Quinn led the offense during the two-minute drill in the second half, but he wound up throwing an interception. But with more time in the third quarter, Quinn is 7-of-10 for 89 yards now.
The Broncos defense has held the Bills down for the most part, except for Rian Lindell's 40-yard field goal in the first quarter. Ryan Fitzpatrick completed just 6-of-17 passes.
