Titans Vs. Rams Final Score: St. Louis Wins On Last-Second Field Goal, 17-16

The Tennessee Titans fell to 1-1 in the preseason with a 17-16 loss to the St. Louis Rams. The Titans did receive a scare when Matt Hasselbeck went down during the second quarter. His head hit the turf, but he was able to get up and walk off the field under his own power. Rookie Jake Locker entered the game and went 8-of-18 for 82 yards and an interception. He threw that while under pressure and on one foot.

The Rams picked up the victory when Josh Brown kicked a 42-yard field goal as time expired. Quarterback Sam Bradford threw an 83-yard touchdown pass to Brandon Gibson on the first play of the game. But the Rams wouldn't score again until the third quarter when A.J. Feely and Donnie Avery hooked up for a 19-yard touchdown pass early in the third quarter.

With Chris Johnson still out for the Titans, a trio of running backs shouldered the load on Saturday evening. Jamie Harper, Stafon Johnson and Herb Donaldson each carried the ball at least 10 times. Harper had a game-high 83 rushing yards.
