Jordan Jefferson, LSU Football Players Will Not Meet With Police On Monday, According To Report

The police are still sorting out the details of an alleged bar brawl that involved LSU starting quarterback Jordan Jefferson. Jefferson and fellow teammates Chris Davenport, Josh Johns and Jarvis Landry had been scheduled to meet with the Baton Rouge Police Department on Monday to be interviewed for the investigation into the reported brawl. However, that meeting has been postponed.

Sergeant Donald Stone told the media on Sunday that the four LSU players hired a lawyer who then negotiated a postponement of their interviews. A new interview date has not been announced.

The Tigers are less than two weeks away from a season-opening game against the No. 3 Oregon Ducks, which already has head coach Les Miles in deep preparation. Without a complete police investigation finished, Miles will wait until the processes play out to determine if Jefferson or any of his teammates deserve punishment for any reported actions.
