Marcos Ambrose overcame Jaques Villeneuve blasting into him, and a series of cautions to win the only Nationwide Race he will be entered in this year.
Marcos Ambrose takes Canada by force: The NAPA Auto Parts 200 Review

Ambrose, driving the same paint scheme that he won with last week in the Sprint Cup Series, proved yet again that he’s a Road Ringer. I struggle to call Ambrose a full time Nascar driver, as he has been very mediocre at other tracks. The difference between Ambrose and Juan Montoya is that Montoya can win, and runs well at most tracks.
This was a terrible race for Ricky Stenhouse as he was just barely able to hang on to the points lead. It’s now a three dog race with Sadler, Sorenson and Stenhouse. Scott Speed had a great run and proved that he’s not dead yet. It’s time for the magic of road courses to be done until 2012, and I for one will miss them.

I cannot go an article without talking about Alex Tagliani. Tag had a great run that almost ended with his first Nascar win. It would have been something. Fellow Canadian Patrick Carpentier didn’t have quite as good of a run.
| Pos | Car # | Driver | Points | Wins |
| 1 | 6 | Ricky Stenhouse Jr. | 834 | 2 |
| 2 | 2 | Elliott Sadler | 826 | 0 |

There is still a chance for the top 3 to falter, so Allgaier, Almirola and Leffler are not out of it yet, but time is running out. Sadler will need to crack the win total if he hopes to win the championship.

I’ve decided to omit the top 30, since it has not and will not change for the rest of the year. I could almost omit the top 10 in Owner points as well, since it would take a string of bad races for the #18 team to not win it.
Join us later in the week for a preview of the next event. We are going to Bristol Tennessee for some good old fashioned Short Track Racing. Enjoy!
