I had a great conversation about “fixing” the Nationwide Series last night on Twitter (@MattWeaverSBN). I suggested starting all registered Cup Series drivers in the back of Nationwide starting lineups regardless of where they had qualified.
Should NASCAR Place Qualifying Buschwackers to the Back of the Field?

It’s much like the penalty for changing engines or drivers prior to a race except this will be a “Cup driver in the Nationwide Series” penalty.
Granted the likes of Kyle Busch and Brad Kesolowski will still find their way to the front but will have to put on a better show in order to do it. It may even further limit the number of “Buschwackers” that compete on Saturdays.
Thoughts?

A lap down
Here’s a suggestion. Should we place all Cup Series regulars to the back of all
regardless of qualifying
@Clarrissa_noelle --> @MattWeaverSBN no, they'll probably just cause more crashes trying to get up to the front, and it wouldn't stop them from winning anyway.
@RyanECU --> @MattWeaverSBN doesn’t matter. Cream will rise to the top. Took Edwards 40 laps to get into top 10 after pit violation
