Not so long ago, I was obsessing over the American League, and assuming that Roy Halladay pretty much had things wrapped up in the National League.

Well, now everything's flipped around. Even with CC Sabathia beating the Red Sox, Justin Verlander's obviously got a big lead in the CYA Sweepstakes. And even with Halladay pitching seven shutout innings against the Reds, there's something of a battle in the National League. Cliff Lee goes against Cincinnati tonight, and he's among the candidates trying to catch Halladay.
