Well, this could be a little odd. It's Gian Piero Gasperini's first "competitive" match in charge of Inter Milan - though some might just call the Italian Super Cup a glorified friendly - and he appears to be reaching into his bag of tricks and going away from what has been 'normal' for Internazionale through the years. His lineup looks like it has a possible three-man back line, something he used from time to time with Genoa. That Milan lineup could see Zanetti play as a fullback, forming some kind of variation on a 4-5-1 formation, but Gasperini’s use of three at the back in his time at Genoa suggests that’s what it’s going to be.
