Mariano Rivera earned the 600th save of his career on Tuesday night. It's an incredible feat, but while round numbers are usually fun to look at, the real excitement will come in the next several days when Rivera notches saves No. 601 and 602, tying and breaking Trevor Hoffman's record for the most saves in MLB history.

Russell Martin secured the final out Tuesday by throwing Ichiro Suzuki out at second base. It's kind of funny that it happened that way, especially considering how many of Rivera's previous 599 saves came as the result of his almost legendary cutter.
