It’s still early in the college football season, but now is as good of a time as any to update individual position rankings for the 2012 NFL Draft.

Before the season started, South Carolina's Alshon Jeffery was in a class of his own at wide receiver. While he's not having a bad season, contemporaries Justin Blackmon and Michael Floyd are closing the gap. Each is a first-round prospect, as is Jeff Fuller of Texas A&M. Deeper in the class, players like Mohamed Sanu and Dwight Jones could develop into a first-round pick.

Note: The position rankings aren’t currently in line with the site’s top 200. After each position ranking is released, a new top 200 will be published.
