NFL inactives, Week 11: Jaguars vs. Texans

Maurice Jones-Drew remains sidelined, but Jags quarterback Blaine Gabbert will play Sunday against Houston.

Jacksonville quarterback Blaine Gabbert has been listed as active for Sunday's game against the Houston Texans. Gabbert sustained an injury to his left shoulder in last week's loss to Indianapolis, but fully participated in practice during the week and will play Sunday. His center, Brad Meester, will also play despite a nagging foot injury.

Jaguars halfback Maurice Jones-Drew remains inactive for the game. Jones-Drew suffered a foot injury in Jacksonville's Week 7 game against Oakland, and has not played since. Cornerback Rashean Mathis and fullback Greg Jones are also inactive.

The Houston Texans will have tight end Owen Daniels, who was listed as questionable throughout the week with a back injury. Daniels had been playing at a Pro Bowl level through the 2012 season, but missed last week's game against Chicago with an injury that head coach Gary Kubiak described as "similar to but worse than a hip pointer." Daniels had been expected to play since Friday. Linebacker Tim Dobbins, who was also questionable throughout the week, is active. Running back Ben Tate will not play due to a hamstring injury. The Texans will also be without defensive tackle Shaun Cody.
