2012 NCAA Bracket, Florida State Vs. St. Bonaventure Final Score: Seminoles Hang On For 66-63 Win

The St. Bonaventure Bonnies were in control of their game against the Florida St. Seminoles until deep into the second half and appeared to be well on their way to an upset, but Leonard Hamilton's team scrapped and clawed their way back into the game. They took their first lead of the game with 5:19 remaining and never let go of it, though they were challenged all the way to the end. The Bonnies had plenty of chances down the stretch, but came up just short as FSU won 66-63.

Down five with 30 seconds to go, Demitrius Conger nailed a three for St. Bonaventure, after which they fouled immediately. Deividas Dulkys missed the front end of the one-and-one, but Okaro White went up and won a battle for an offensive rebound, tipping the ball out to Luke Loucks. He hit one of two free throws, expanding FSU's lead to three with 23 seconds remaining.

The Bonnies tried for a quick two, but missed and failed to recognize the situation when they got the offensive rebound, going for a two again when there was just five seconds left on the clock. They failed to score, giving FSU the three-point win.

Andrew Nicholson had a spectacular game for the Bonnies, scoring 20 points and grabbing seven rebounds. He was only slightly upstaged by Bernard James of FSU, who finished with 19 points, nine rebounds and four blocks after a stunning second-half performance.
