March Madness Scores: Ohio Leads Michigan By 6 At Halftime

The No. 4 seed Michigan Wolverines are having a tough time getting anything to fall in their second-round matchup against the No. 13 seed Ohio Bobcats, and the Maize and Blue are down 35-29 at the intermission.

Michigan, like all John Beilein teams, relies heavily on the three-point shot and, with the exception of Tim Hardaway Jr., the long shots just aren't falling for the Wolverines. Hardaway is 2-4 on his long shots, and the rest of the team is just 1-7. Big Ten Freshman of the Year Trey Burke is the Wolverines' motor at point guard, and he's struggling from everywhere, shooting 2-6 from the field for four points, but he does have four assists.

The Bobcats' shooting has been pretty much the inverse of the Wolverines. Their two shooters, D.J. Cooper and Nick Kellogg, son of broadcaster Clark Kellogg, have been red hot from long range; they've combined to shoot 4-7 and score 19 points. They're going to need to continue to win the shoot-off if they're going to hold their lead.
