On Sunday, the No. 13 Ohio Bobcats met up with the No. 12 South Florida Bulls for a nice, polite game of basketball, or as it's called in more civil circles, "gentlemen's baskets." The two teams introduced themselves to one another in a civil fashion, then kept at a polite distance from one another as they took turn endeavoring to hurl the spheroid (or "basket-ball" as is the colloquial term) into the goal, or "King's circle." There was a mild fuss in the first half of play, when a slight disagreement broke out.

In the course of “shooting” a basket (an uncharacteristically harsh-sounding term for such a genteel sport), the ball had shot free of any participant’s grasp, so a demure reaching-for by players of both teams ensued. Initially, the ball was ruled to be in possession of the fellow from South Florida, which caused the delegate from Ohio to voice his disagreement with the judgment.
As you can see, the gentleman is saying, “How now! This fellow hasn’t touched it before me!”
As it turned out, the player’s pleading his case in a level-headed and thoughtful manner was unnecessary, as the official behind him had already overturned the ruling. Order was restored and a disagreement was never had on a basketball court ever again.
