The final game of the Sweet 16 will pit the Kansas Jayhawks, a popular pick for the Final Four, against the 11-seed N.C. State Wolfpack, one of the last bubble teams in the NCAA Tournament field. The Wolfpack beat No. 6 seed San Diego State and No. 3 seed Georgetown in their first two games after a nice run through the ACC tournament allowed them to qualify.
NCAA Tournament 2012, NC State Vs. Kansas: TV Schedule, Game Time And More
The N.C. State Wolfpack will try to keep their improbable run going against the Kansas Jayhawks in the final game of the Sweet 16.

The Jayhawks, like the Wolfpack against Georgetown, got all they could handle in the Round of 32 against Robbie Hummel and the Purdue Boilermakers, but late steals and a little luck helped the Jayhawks advance. Purdue might have some advice for the Wolfpack in how to stop surefire All-American Thomas Robinson: double-cover him all the time, even when he doesn't have the ball. With big men like C.J. Leslie and Richard Howell, they have the personnel to execute this strategy, but neither has the bulk to contain Robinson one-on-one. It's also important to note that Robinson still managed 11 points and 13 rebounds despite double- and triple-teams all game long.
For the Wolfpack, the key will be getting Leslie going. He's their best player, and he's helped by perimeter players like Scott Wood and Lorenzo Brown who can fill it up, but he's been inconsistent this year and he's the only one on the team with NBA talent. If he has a big game, N.C. State's wild run in the tournament may continue.
Game Date/Time: Friday, March 23, 10:17 p.m. ET
TV: TBS
Announcers: Marv Albert, Steve Kerr, Craig Sager
