The Xavier Musketeers appear to have finally met their match in the NCAA Tournament. At the under-eight minute TV timeout in the first half of their Sweet 16 game, the Baylor Bears have a sizable 28-12 lead. They've overmatched Xavier in every conceivable way and it's going to take something remarkable for the Musketeers to make this interesting.
Xavier Vs. Baylor, 2012 NCAA Tournament: Bears Cruising Early
There hasn't been any dominant Baylor player in particular. They're spreading the ball around very well. Brady Heslip leads all scorers with seven points, but a total of seven Bears have scored. Perry Jones and Quincy Acy are both 3-3 from the floor and have six points each.
Xavier are getting outworked on the boards and they’re turning the ball over. Baylor have five steals already. The Musketeers are just not in the same physical category as Baylor, and it shows.
