VIDEO: Quincy Acy Has Some Things To Say To Xavier

Bill Hanstock
Bill Hanstock is a writer, author and Emmy Award-winning producer. He began writing for SB Nation in 2011.

The Friday night Sweet 16 game between the Baylor Bears and the Xavier Musketeers started out as an unrepentant bloodbath. Although Xavier has managed to climb back into things, it is pretty clear who the more talented team is here. (Spoiler: not Xavier.) Toward the end of the first half, Baylor's Quincy Acy delivered a monstrous dunk, followed by what many would assume was a primal scream. Not so! See for yourself after the jump.

Here is the videographic proof of said dunkaroo:

As you can see, Acy followed the dunk up by saying “AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH,” which could be mistaken for a scream of pure exuberance. But Acy was actually attempting to formulate a discourse between himself and Xavier, but couldn’t quite find the words.

Here is a short list of the things Acy thought about saying to the Musketeers, before just allowing himself to trail off:

- “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARE you guys going to Applebee’s after the game? We can all share some of those two-person entree deals!”

- “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAABRAHAM Lincoln: Vampire Hunter looks like a silly good time, everyone! Let’s go see it when it comes out! Hope it’s in 2D, though. 3D glasses hurt my eyes!”

- “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANYBODY have change for a 20? I saw some Twizzlers in the locker room vending machine. Everyone says Red Vines are better than Twizzlers, but I live in Texas, so I’ve never had Red Vines!”

- “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA you guys aren’t very good at basketball.”

And what the heck, here's the animated version, for posterity Primal_medium

KABOOM.
