Ohio State and Kansas seem to be settling in for a close stretch run in New Orleans. The Buckeyes lead, 43-40, at the under-12 media timeout.

William Buford remains Ohio State's leading scorer, with 12 points, and has propped up a Buckeyes offense that has been struggling since the early going, shooting 35 percent from the field. And Jared Sullinger and Deshaun Thomas are a combined 7-for-26, depriving the Bucks of the typical production from their two best offensive options.
Kansas has made its rally from double-digit deficits in the first half by shooting better in the second period. Thomas Robinson has improved from an awful start and has 12 points, and the Jayhawks are 7-for-12 as a team in the half.
Both teams also have significant players in foul trouble: Elijah Johnson of Kansas is sitting with four fouls, as is Ohio State's Thomas.
