VIDEO: Kentucky Gets Past Louisville, But Wildcats Have Weaknesses

Kentucky is on its way to the NCAA Tournament final against Kansas, and the Wildcats pulled away late against Louisville to get there. But as SB Nation’s Nick Fasulo notes, Kentucky didn’t play its best game — and that should give the Jayhawks hope going into Monday’s title duel.

Kentucky got a great game from Anthony Davis, its multiple player of the year award-winner and presumptive top pick in the 2012 NBA Draft. Davis had 18 points, 14 rebounds, five blocks, two assists, and a steal, and generally looked every bit as good as he has all season.

But Davis was about the only Kentucky player cleaning up on the glass, as Louisville outrebounded the Wildcats and snagged an absurd 16 offensive rebounds. The Cardinals also shot poorly around the hoop, which Kansas, with Jeff Withey and Thomas Robinson, could improve on.
