Ravens-Falcons Trade: Baltimore Moves Up In Round 2

The Baltimore Ravens moved up seven spots in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft. Engineering a trade with the Atlanta Falcons, the Ravens were able to move up from the 91st to the 84th pick in the draft. They also gave up the 164th pick to make the move.

With the pick, the Ravens selected Tempe RB Bernard Pierce.

The Ravens have had a productive draft to this point, picking up Alabama linebacker Courtney Upshaw and G Kelechi Osemele in the second round of the draft. The Ravens traded out of the first round.

The Falcons have made one pick so far, the 55th overall pick where they took Wisconsin center Peter Konz. The rest of their picks went to the Julio Jones trade last year.

Results from the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft can be found here, and second round results are available here. For more player rankings and draft information, check out Mocking the Draft.
