Peyton Manning Tells Dolphins They’re Out, According To Report

The latest Peyton Manning rumors have been centered around the Denver Broncos and Tennessee Titans as the two leaders in the clubhouse for Manning's services. The Miami Dolphins recently set up a visit with free agent QB Matt Flynn, which suggested that they could be out of the running for Manning.

According to Jeff Darlington of NFL.com, they are indeed out of the running. Darlington reports Manning personally called the Dolphins on Thursday to let them know that they’re out of the running.

This can’t be a total surprise because the Dolphins have appeared out of it for several days. Miami was at one point considered the favorites for Manning but that didn’t last long.

The Dolphins will now turn their focus to Flynn. That the Dolphins contacted Flynn on Thursday told us that they were likely out of the race and with the NFL.com report, we now know that they are.
