Broncos Plane Headed To See Peyton Manning, According To Reports

The Peyton Manning sweepstakes are coming down to the Denver Broncos and Tennessee Titans, according to various reports. The Arizona Cardinals are still alive, but they seem unlikely at this point. The Miami Dolphins have reportedly been ruled out.

Denver reporters continue to indicate the Broncos are the favorite, and the latest news may help their argument. According to SB Nation’s Broncos blog, Mile High Report, a Broncos plane is headed towards Manning.

A plane tied to the Broncos and Pat Bowlen, the same plane that took John Elway and John Fox to Stillwater, OK last week, the same plane that traveled to Miami to pick up Peyton Manning last week - the same plane that is NOW scheduled to fly to Raleigh, NC this morning. Manning has been in North Carolina visiting with Duke coach David Cutcliffe and was picked up and dropped off from North Carlina when he visited the Tennessee Titans.

Other Denver reporters have confirmed that John Elway is on his way there. This isn’t evidence that the Broncos are about to sign, but it has to be considered good news for Denver if they are indeed visiting Manning. Denver hosted Manning for a visit last week.

If the Broncos can land Manning, the only remaining question is: Can he throw?
