The Pittsburgh Steelers continue to clean house this offseason. Hines Ward, Aaron Smith and James Farrior all appear to be on their way out, and Mike Wallace may soon be parting ways with the team as well. The latest news is that the Steelers have released another member of their 2011 team.

Ed Bouchette of the Post-Gazette reports that guard Chris Kemoeatu has been cut by the Steelers to free up some more cap room. Kemoeatu would have been owed $3.6 million by the team in 2012, so Pittsburgh will be saving a significant amount of money with the move. The money from this and other cuts is expected to be used in order to tender a contract offer for Wallace.
